Our donation and recycling center provides numerous avenues for supporting the Mission by accepting the following items:

  • * Clothes, towels, blankets, sheets, and shoes in any condition

  • * Metal and aluminum

  • * Small household items in working order

  • * Cardboard

  • * Paper and shredded paper

  • * Books and magazines

  • * Furniture in salable condition (excluding couches, loveseats, mattresses, box springs, bedframes, and desks)

The center is located at 112 Elijah Street, situated behind our main facility on King Street. It is open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. You may drive up, and our staff will assist with unloading your vehicle.

Our ministry programs are entirely dependent on your support. Each dollar you donate directly contributes to the Martinsburg Union Rescue Mission’s ministries, enabling us to guide those in need towards a path guided by Jesus. Kindly visit the link provided above to establish your donation today.

Donation Pickup Inquiry


Your donations through our donation and recylcing center are vital to helping us continue to provide the services we provide to those in need. We understand that there may be times when you are unable to bring your donations to us.

If you have furniture or a large amount of clothes, shoes, household items or food you can not bring into the donation center yourself, use the form below to contact our pick-up coordinator will get in touch with you promptly.

Kindly provide a phone number where you can be reached from Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, as these are the hours our coordinator is available in the office.

If possible, please include a photograph of the item(s) to be picked up.

If photography is not feasible, please provide as many detailed descriptions as possible of the item(s) to be picked up.

A few things to keep in mind

  • Clothing, sheets, towels, blankets, pillows can be in any condition

  • All food must still be in date

  • We do not accept couches, love seats, desks, entertainment centers, mattresses or box springs, bed frames, large appliances, or pressed wood or Sauder furniture.

  • All furniture picked up must be in resalable condition. Our driver will make this determination upon arrival.

  • Our pick-ups are scheduled for Monday through Thursday between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM within a 15-mile radius of our Martinsburg facility located at 608 West King Street.

  • We are currently scheduling a month-long pick-up period.
